This is absolutely the best stop for prime meat. I picked up a filet mignoin and a twice baked potato. The steak on the Barbie was fantastic. The potato was just ok but good enough to finish. Between fresh and frozen, this is the place to come when you want the best. Lots of service, discount for cash. Fee for credit..
Dickman's has great quality and selection of meat cuts!! They carry seafood and exotic meats in their freezer. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, I LOVE smoking and BBQ'ing on the weekends and enjoying their knowledge and them talking to me.
I love the diversity of meats. The freezer has so much different cool stuff but they need a new way to organize it other than ugly sharpie brown boxes labeled better. I bought a few things on sale but pretty sure the girl behind the counter didn't know what was on sale. I bought 1.99lb sausages but she didn't mark those down AND bought the chips for 1/2 price salsa or something but that didn't get discounted either and it was too busy to bother arguing
Was making a short rib recipe, closest stop was Davison but they didn't have short rib. Stopped here and they had the short rib that I needed and they cut it to size. Overall was pretty good for me, the guy behind the counter yelled at the customers bunched up. I get it, but expect to know what you are looking for without any nonsense or you might get yelled at.
Great selection and good cuts of many types of meats. I buy many of their products including sandwiches as well.
While a business is not allowed to review another business on Yelp, we bought the most delicious 17 pound prime rib from Dickman's Meat and Deli! The roast was trimmed, boneless, tied and ready to go when we picked it up. They also gave a few good tips on seasoning and use of a wonderful tool called a Meater Thermometer. Their prices are competitive and their quality second to none. Our guests said it was "the best" prime rib they ever had!
Please read the entire review. Instead of changing it, I have left my first somewhat angry reaction and later I added the correction. If only they could properly train their staff. I bought some salads which were fine, tuna, ham, and slaw. Then I asked for a smoked turkey leg. She told me where to look. I brought it back and asked, "This is smoked, correct?" She assured me it was. "We only have smoked turkey legs. If it's in the case, it has been smoked." Later today I will bring the defrosted unsmoked, raw leg back. Of course, they won't refund. How can they with no price left on? Of course, they will say I should have known it wasn't smoked. And, of course, I will leave unhappy. So, be sure you ask at least two staff the same question before believing the answer and even then be prepared to be frustrated. I take it back. I received an apology and a refund. Even management thought it should have been smoked and said they didn't know how the mistake was made.

GET THE UGLY STEAKS! They are so tender and melt in your mouth. They were $17.99 a pound and worth every penny. Better than any steakhouse around. It was busy for Mothers Day weekend. Staff were friendly. They had samples of strudel from Viro's Italian Bakery which was a treat. The freezer wall had all kinds of exotic meat and a full fridge of German goods. Lots of spices, sauces, and local goods. This place is awesome.
